OT - prayer request - neice
hey guys
if you would please add my neice Killa to your prayers or lifestock swinging today.
Jenni (some of you remember her, she and thier now 2 yo lived with us part of my pg with Rach while my brohter was deployed)) called me yesterday and told me they were taking the baby in to ER she was having a hard time breathing. Bro called me last night and told me they were keeping Killa at least over night. She has some kind of viral respitory issue - not sure what but sure she is too sick to go home.
She is almost 6 months so not newborn but still pretty little. Bro and Jen were fairly freaked out - will update when I get any info - and I'll be there on Thurs

Does RSV ring a bell? We all get it at one time or another in our lives, but for little ones it can be a hard thing to get over. For adults its like a cold but for little ones its like the flu. Doctors like to treat it in the hospital so they can give IV fluids and antibiotics. The son of a very good friend of mine had it when he was a few days old. After a stay at Cook's he was fine. He is now like 16 and weighs about double what I do.
